Direction, NOT intention, determines destination. This week, I am living on purpose!!!
The Happiness Project
Things that make me happy:
- InStyle tweets on Twitter
- Good night sleep
- AFV in the morning instead of the Today Show
- Ab workouts with Parker
- Cute little boys in church
- A clean room
- The cool down in a workout
- Parking spots behind Hall Roland
- Rainy days that remind me of Edward :-)
- Everyone wearing rainboots at Freed
- Talking to Mandy after not seeing her for a long time
- Cheryl telling me it looks like I have lost weight!!!
This is the color and cut I want for my hair when it grows out.
Today is day 5 in my workout. My main goal is to be able to get into a swimsuit this summer without being embarrassed. I’m not quite sure that I like these swimsuits, but they may be a possibility. What do you think?
Recently my best friend from school got engaged. While I myself am nowhere near ready to marry, Mandy’s engagement has gotten me excited about looking for wedding dresses. I love a simple, elegant look with lace. Here are some examples that I love.
I took a quiz at InStyle and found out that I am the sophisticate with Katie Holmes as my muse.
Happy New Year!
Did anyone see Selena Gomez perform at the New Years party? She looked absolutely gorgeous, even though singing with Justin Beber was awkward. lol Although she is younger than me, I definitely look up to her style and beauty!
I think Kristen Stewart is awkward, but this is the one picture that I love of her. And of course, having Robert in the picture doesn’t hurt!
See, it is possible for girls my height to be skinny! Thanks for the inspiration!
Crudity is NEVER Classy
Last night I went to the Predators game in Nashville against the Chicago Blackhawks. Simply stated, I will never go back. I have been before, and once I even rode the zamboni, but last night sealed the deal. I’ve always been disgusted by the thousands of redneck fans who scream profanities at the players. Last night was the same, but I also listened to the soap opera drama of the hockey groupies sitting behind me. The girls were pretty (bleach blondes, of course), and I think one of them is dating one of the Preds players. Their language, however, was the nastiest I have ever heard. I won’t repeat it, but the more I listened to them, the uglier I thought they were. After one of them spilled her beer on my NorthFace jacket, I made the final decision that I will not be returning to watch the Predators play. Point blank - crudity is never classy.
I love the elegance of a yellow, white and black room. However, both the yellow and black have to be muted or vintage in order for the effect to be relaxing and chic rather than such a stark contrast and bold statement.
This is the perfect picture of elegance and what I want to attain with my look.
I knew I loved these two actresses, but when I saw their dresses, I was even more impressed. The color portrays confidence, and the cut is romantic and alluring.
I really don’t like tattoos, especially on girls. However, Angelina’s is the exception. It’s very sexy, and more importantly, it has meaning to her. And I’ve always tried to emulate Angelina’s mysterious glamor. We have similar aspects with the big lips and hair.
Emma Watson’s fashion style is right up my alley!
